Resourcing, transitioning, planting…

March 4, 2020

Thirty members of the Anabaptist Mennonite Network spent the weekend of 29 February- 1 March reflecting on the priorities of the Network. Working groups explored the practicalities of offering to individuals and communities resources from the Anabaptist tradition; helping churches transition to become more wholeheartedly Anabaptist; and helping those who want to plant new Anabaptist churches. We also continued an ongoing discussion about Anabaptist ‘common practices’, which fed into the wider conversation.

This was a lively, energised and creative weekend. It will take some time to process the ideas that emerged and we’ll share more over the coming weeks. But it feels like a new season for the Network with many opportunities to contribute to and resource Christian witness in a post-Christendom world. And the growing numbers joining the Network and contacting us via this website only adds to this perception. Please join the conversation if these things are of interest to you too.
