ATF Moving Online

April 14, 2020

The Anabaptist Theology Forum normally meets twice a year and was scheduled to meet later this month. But in light of the current restrictions on gathering, Linda Wilson and Fran Porter, who were organising this, have decided to offer the planned sessions in four online Zoom meetings on Thursday afternoons between 2 and 4pm.

The first will be on April 23. John Heathershaw will be delivering a paper based on part of his forthcoming book, Security After Christendom. Future dates will be 7 May, 14 May and 21 May, with papers from Janet Sutton, Fran Porter, and Andrew Bolton. A log in code will be sent nearer the time, along with some brief instructions about participation.

If you have not participated in one of the Forum events before, this might be an opportunity to do so. Linda writes: ‘If you are likely to want to join us for any of these sessions, please send me ([email protected]) an email with your name and a brief sentence about yourself, so that the presenters can see these beforehand. This is just to give those presenting and chairing some idea of numbers and who might be joining in, it doesn’t commit you to anything.’
